Receipts & tax
Your receipt, your tax benefit
SEVA Foundation is approved under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act. Your donation qualifies for a deduction, subject to the limits in the Act.
Share your PAN with your gift. We report it to the Income Tax Department and send your donation certificate after the financial year closes, for your return.
Cash gifts above ₹2,000 do not qualify for a deduction.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, if you pay income tax in India under the old tax regime. SEVA Foundation is approved under Section 80G (URN ABITS4575KF20241). Add your PAN and address when you give; we report your gift to the Income Tax Department and send your donation certificate after the financial year ends. The new tax regime does not allow this deduction.

Can I give every month?
Yes. Choose Give monthly at the top of the form and pick ₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,000 or ₹5,000 a month. To change or stop your monthly gift, reply to any receipt email or write to sevaind@outlook.com; it stops before the next debit.
Can I donate from outside India?
Not yet. SEVA Foundation is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, so we accept gifts only from Indian citizens, from their own funds in Indian bank accounts.
Can I give in cash?
Please give digitally or by cheque. A cash donation above ₹2,000 does not qualify for any income-tax deduction.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. SEVA never sees or stores your card or bank login details.
