Your receipt, your tax benefit
Every gift receives a receipt by email, with SEVA's PAN and registration details.
SEVA Foundation is registered under Section 12AB of the Income-tax Act. Whether a gift qualifies for a donor's tax deduction depends on SEVA's 80G approval being in force on the date of the gift, and your receipt will say so.
Please share your PAN so we can report your gift correctly.
When will I receive my receipt?
Immediately after a successful online payment, by email. For bank transfers and cheques, within seven working days of the funds reaching us.
How do I change or stop my monthly gift?
Reply to any receipt email or write to sevaind@outlook.com. Your gift stops before the next debit, with no questions asked.
Can I donate from outside India?
Not yet. SEVA Foundation is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, so we accept gifts only from Indian citizens, from their own funds in Indian bank accounts.
Can I give in cash?
Please give digitally or by cheque. A cash donation above ₹2,000 does not qualify for any income-tax deduction.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. SEVA never sees or stores your card or bank login details.
What if I made a mistake in my donation?
Write to us within seven days with your transaction details. See our refund and cancellation policy.
