What We Do
We support children and youth to reach their full potential!
India is the first country in the world to make corporate social responsibility (CSR) mandatory, following an amendment to the Companies Act, 2013 in April 2014. Businesses can invest their profits in areas such as education, poverty, gender equality, and hunger as part of any CSR compliance.
Child Education
Educating the un-educated and skilling the un-skilled is one of the primary objective of SEVA Foundation’s existence. We are committed to ensure that maximum children are covered under our education programs.
Food Distribution
We host “Anna Daan Seva” under our Food Distribution project at Seva Foundation.
Anna daan is the act of donating food to the needy. In Vedic culture, it is considered one of the most pious and virtuous acts. Anna Daan is considered to be Mahadaan. It is believed that offering food to others is equivalent to offering it to God Himself.
The act of Anna Daan is also considered a form of seva, or selfless service, which helps one develop love and compassion towards all living beings.
Women Empowerment
The empowerment & autonomy of women and the enhancement of their social, health, political, and economic conditions is an extremely vital end in itself. It is the framework for the achievement of sustainable development. The power equations that obstruct women’s realization of healthy and fulfilling lives function across different levels of society, from very personal to the highly public. Accomplishing transformation needs policy and programme initiatives that would enhance women’s access to secure livelihoods & economic resources, lessen their extreme responsibilities with regard to housework, eradicate legal obstacles to their participation in public life, and increase social awareness through effective programmes of education and mass communication.
Health & Wellness
Health, wellness and hygiene should be everyone’s right and those who do not have privilege to get access to appropriate health services; we conduct these camps and programs.
We believe everyone has a right to safe, accessible drinking water. You can provide that water – and transform lives – in rural area. Your donations can drill new wells, repair existing wells, and much more. End the cycle of sickness and poverty that comes from drinking dirty water.
Legal Awareness
At SEVA Foundation we work towards creating legal awareness about human rights and methods of preventing human right violations. We also conduct various research activities to understand social issues and to create awareness. There are always un-addressed issues in the society and people need a helping hand who listen to their problems and in special cases, become their voice.
Gaushala
Gaushala, a Sanskrit word (“Gau” means cow and “Shala” means a shelter place: Gau + Shala = shelter for cows), means the home for cows, calves and oxen. The tactics of sheltering cows through Gaushala is actually being practiced since from the five thousand years or so, because its origin can be traced in the Vedic period when social customs and rules laid great emphasis on protection, preservation, and development of cows for home, and oxen for agriculeryone has a right to safe, accessible drinking water.
At SEVA, Serving our Gaumaa by our possible ways:

Providing Simple yet nutritious meals to needy.
Food distribution camps are often arranged in the nearby and connected slums to Kolkata. Mahatma Gandhi said “There are so much hunger in the world that god can not appear better than in form of bread”.
We with the help of generous supporters and volunteers (Sevadar) arrange free raw and cooked food distribution time to time in slums and orphanages.
Country’s current situation is getting worst and worst because of prices going high and high for everything, poor are getting more and more poor and rich are getting more rich, there is more fruits in the shampoo of a rich than a plate of a poor.
Come make a difference!
